Key Account Manager / Country Manager Italy

We’re a Berlin-based medtech startup dedicated to building AI-powered software that supports radiologists with their daily work: Analyzing medical images. Our first apps for identifying Alzheimer’s and multiple sclerosis from MRI scans are already on the market and quickly gaining traction. To help us grow our customer base, we’re looking for you to join our team of AI and radiology enthusiasts!

Tasks:

  • Build a robust pipeline of qualified leads for our AI-based software portfolio in radiology and convert them into paying customers incl. negotiation of terms and conditions
  • Develop an intimate understanding of the key needs of our customers and help them to grow their business by means of our software solutions
  • Develop tangible action plans for the most important accounts and disciplined execution against it
  • Ensure a continuous feedback loop from our customers into product development to ensure we meet our customers’ requirements
  • Effective collaboration with internal departments – in particular customer support – to facilitate instant fulfilment of client need
  • Collecting and analysing data incl. competitive intelligence to learn more about market trends & consumer behaviour

Qualification:

  • You have a natural affinity to technology, see the benefits that in particular AI-based solutions can bring to health care and want to make a difference
  • You have a medical, science, engineering or business degree and have worked in sales and/or key account management roles for at least 3-5 years
  • You’re committed to excellent customer service
  • Your excellent written & verbal communication skills as well as superb interpersonal skills allow you to connect fast to different types of customers and build a trusted working relationship
  • You’re highly adaptable and possess strong problem solving skills
  • You feel comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • You are able to collect, track, and analyse large amounts of data and use it effectively for targeting and segmentation of your customers
  • You’re fluent in both Italian and English (written and spoken)
  • You are a versed user of standard software like MS Office and are able to use state of the art communication tools to effectively connect with your customer also remotely
  • You get bonus points if you have one or more of the following:

Bonus Points:

  • You have a network of radiologists/ potential customers in Italy (Big plus!)
  • Experience in selling MRI-equipment
  • Experience in selling radiology IT systems (PACS, RIS, DICOM …)
  • Experience in collaborating with engineering or data science teams
  • Leadership experience and the potential to grow into sales management functions relatively fast
