LIFTT is a new way of combining innovation with business and finance, a business model guided by not only profit logics creating a bridge between innovative ideas, territory and capital.

We are an operating investment company that promotes an ethical business model inspired by the ESG (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance Criteria), which requires respect for the environment, sustainability, social and economic impact and adherence to the values of our founding members (Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo and Politecnico di Torino through the Fondazione Links).

We work to identify the potential in each project. And we are motivated to enhance it generating value for the company, its investors but also for the community and the territory that expressed that idea.

OUR HISTORY

Chaired by the scientist and entrepreneur Stefano Buono, LIFTT came to life as an operating company in June 2019, thanks to Compagnia di San Paolo, Politecnico di Torino, and LINKS Foundation.

LIFTT was born in Turin, operating within the agreements between the Compagnia di San Paolo and five universities: Politecnico di Torino, Università di Torino, Università del Piemonte Orientale, Università di Genova and Università Federico II di Napoli.

In January 2020 LIFTT opens to private capital and announces the transformation into S.p.A. (Public Limited Company), to conclude a first capital increase of 7.2 million euros in a few weeks thanks to the participation of 27 investors among private individuals, business angels and investment holding companies.

In April 2020 the company has been recognised as an ‘Innovative SME’.

In June 2020 LIFTT announced a new €8.4 million capital increase to further enhance its investment activity and take advantage of the tax benefits for those investing in innovative SMEs.
